Meet Dr. Kristen

Born and raised in South Dakota, Dr. Kristen Schultz, found her way to Minneapolis after undergraduate studies in French Luther College in Iowa. After a knee injury, Dr. Kristen shifted gears as a pastry chef and worked to become a physical therapist. 8 years later, she graduated from the St. Kate's Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Dr. Kristen is the founder of Kos Physiotherapy and Wellness, where her mission is to transform the way physical therapy and wellness are perceived and delivered. Her passion for this mission stems from a deep-seated belief that everyone deserves to enjoy life's simple pleasures, free from the constraints of pain or physical limitation.

Specializing in pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy, she sets out to offer an alternative—one that empowers avid gym enthusiasts, postpartum mothers, and anyone in between to regain control of their bodies and their lives.

The Kos approach is different by design. Kos prioritizes one-on-one time, ensuring every session is tailored to the individual's needs, goals, and lifestyle. She takes pride in offering a space where clients are heard, understood, and actively involved in their recovery journey. It's not just about providing expert care; it's about building relationships based on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to achieving lasting health and happiness.

In 2022, she married her husband, Stephen. Together, they love cooking, going for walks, or just laying low at home. In her free time, Dr. Kristen can be seen coaching at F45 or Rumble, teaching barre at HUM Yoga + Barre, or trying out a group fitness class. Needless to say, she enjoys staying active. Dr. Kristen has also dedicated years to playing ultimate frisbee, has won master's nationals twice, and travelled to Mexico and Italy to compete.
